BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Hollywood Casino in Bangor
is expecting to surpass last year’s revenue totals, with a drop in slot
machine income being made up for with an increase in revenue from table
games.
General Manager John Osborne says with
$58.5 million in net revenue with one month left this year, the casino,
barring a dismal December, will surpass its $59.5 million yield from
2011.
Osborne tells the Bangor Daily News
(http://bit.ly/SKWyp0 ) he expects the facility to bring in about $4.5
million this month, which would mean breaking the $61.7 million record
in 2010.
Osborne says a drop in slot revenue
has been made up at blackjack, roulette and other games. The casino
plans on adding craps tables in 2013.
The casino has also seen a boost in visitors from Canada this year.
